I'm out tomorrow until mid afternoon, but I'll have a play again when I get back I also have a separate routine for SyncToy for normal data, such as Docs & Photos. I do use Paragon Hard Disk Manager 15 to make occasional system images of the whole 'C' drive on two of the network drives, but have always thought it a good idea to have a second alternative backup using a different method on a different drive.

Not keen on a repair install as everything else seems to be working OK at the moment, and I'm loathe to break anything. Make sure the Windows Backup service is started and set to automatic. Try deleting restore points on the affected machine,then try running backup again.Д¬heck with the Windows Backup services and their dependencies to start and set it to Automatic and check if it helps.

Ive heard that way of backing up can be glitchy.
