Had I not lost the first day I probably could have done two adventures (they were pretty lengthy). So I finished the quest only to find all that did was increase my visa to 90% to level 1. First of all, the sims have to walk FOREVER to get to any building here, even with a bike or car they still took a very long time (as much of it was still on foot). I finished the adventure (which was decently enjoyable) but the energy motive was a killer. I got the shower in a can, tent, and dried food like they suggested. I quickly realized that it didn't make sense to do it with both sims and really you could only focus on one sim at a time. The second day I realized how the expansion pack 'worked' and did an adventure. The first day I was getting my feel of everything for the most part and exploring so I guess I did lose a day kind of, although even than I didn't get to exploring nearly everything. What really ruined it was I could only do three days. I sent my two sims there on honeymoon (I found it odd that wasn't an option to make like in Sims 2 Bon Voyage, and also that you left for vacation RIGHT AWAY but it is what it is). Honestly I feel they didn't really think it through.

I decided to reinstall the game recently and my expansion packs as well. I've had the expansion pack for years and remember not loving vacation on it the few times I did send my sims there years ago.
